First echo: Northern lights: the books from Aziraphale's bookshop. There was four months between the first book and the second, and a continued half life of 0.5 (two months, once month, etc.) until by the 28th Feburary she began receiving more than one a day. She will have the entire contents of the shop before the end of March.
June 4th: Rune's confusion over idioms about water birds brought back a conversation that Aziraphale had with Crowley about the antichrist and how suspicion slides off him like.... whatever it is water slides off of and ends with Crowley remembering suddenly that it is in fact ducks, confusing Aziraphale*.
The memory starts from: "Suspicion will slide off him like, like . . . whatever it is water slides off of,"" which covers: 1) two people are looking for someone 2) they both have 'organisations' they can use for it (and they aren't very sophisticated) 3) said organisations won't "get people to shoot one another, they [won't] hypnotise respectable women" and ends with Crowley remembering that water slides off ducks. The conversation takes place in Crowley's Bentley on the way back to London from Oxford, accompanied by J. S. Bach's Mass in B Minor, vocals by F. Mercury. (pg 63-4 in my digital copy)
*"His forehead creased for a moment, and then he slapped the steering wheel triumphantly. "Ducks!" he shouted.
"What?"
"That's what water slides off!"
Aziraphale took a deep breath.
"Just drive the car, please," he said wearily."
